The scenery of Kari-Kari is typical of the high mountains of the Andes, and there you can admire the fauna (herds of llamas, viscachas and condor, also flora. A trek to te different laggons of Kari Kari  located in a area of 25 Kms. abnd with  an altitude  of 4400 to 5000 m. from where you can  apreciate  beatiful sites of mountains and different animal.

During the Colonial Period King  Felipe II of Spain set out a plan that was implemented by Vice Rey Toledo  with the aim of extendig city's  water supply. The king had ordened that 20.000 indian draftees be sent  to complete the tedious work. Building dams, fortifying existing lakes  and  building  a system of open and closed aqueducts connecting all the lakes, and taking the water to the city and the Ingenios.

We offer one and two day trek  to Kari Kari, time to enjoy  the outstanding  Altiplanic scenery, we have  lunch in this  high  point  us time  to admire  the spectacular  view  from here the  one day  trek  returns by another  canyon with different lakes  to our  point  od departure. Meanwhile the two day trek continues  to a small Village where we will eat and  stay in Indian's houses. The second day the high light is the  hot springs at  Chaqui, returning  to Potosí  in Private Transport  4x4 W.D.  Land Cruiser.
