Departure at 10.00 a.m., taking in sights around Potosí. We visit the Cayara hacienda at 30 km from Potosí, in a valley that extends to the northwest at an elevation of 3550 metres. This beautiful working farm, which is set among lovely hills, dates from the sixteenth century, when it formed part of the estate administered by the Viceroy Toledo in the name of the King of Spain Felipe II. Its title later passed to don Juan de Tendones and still later to the Marquis de Otavi.
